Bounty Binders: Bounties of the Northeast Line

Bounty Binders is a Breathless powered game where you play as a Bounty Binder, a bounty hunter with magical abilities, who travels the multiverse in pursuit of powerful villains and criminals. Each series of Bounties is set in a different location and contains four local individuals that need to be hunted down and captured. The game is designed to be played solo, with players keeping a journal of their character’s exploits, or with a small team of players: a GM to run the Bounties and Complications, and up to three Binders to try and retrieve the Bounty. Play can be as limited (only run the Bounties as written) or open-world (with GMs creating new Complications on the fly and narrative moving beyond the hunts themselves) as the players want.

This initial series of Bounties takes place in the Ley Line Riders setting, a weird west setting, on the Northeast Line. In this world the planet is dying, poisoned by a mysterious force called the Corruption Impulse that turns living creatures into a Corrupted version of themselves, and the only places safe from the impulse are found among the planet’s ley lines and ley points. These lines are hotspots of banditry and adventure, and are normally patrolled by independent operators, called riders, and members of the planetary law enforcement, known as sheriffs and deputies.
